Duck!
4 of 5 stars
4.5 Gold Crowns. Kim Dare’s Duck! is a charming piece that takes its theme from the children’s fairy tale, The Ugly Duckling. Make no mistake, though, this is definitely a book for adults. To read this review in its entirety, please visit...

Kiss Me, I’m Irish by Bella Street

Publisher: Firefly Press

Genre: Paranormal, Time-Travel, Contemporary Romance

Length: 160 pages

Summary:

Emily Musgrave is heading a direction she never wanted to go in Regency England–namely a convent to turn her from her waywardness. But it’s more loneliness than rebellion that motivates her to escape her certain fate.

Liam Jackson is going nowhere fast in modern-day Tennessee. Playing his Dobro in seedy bars and backward dives along with his fiddling sister, Tinker, is doing nothing for his music career–and even less for the dark places in his soul.

Pixie mischief can not only change time-lines, it can change hearts. Because sometimes a girl just needs a little magic in her life.

Beth’s Review:

Kiss Me, I’m Irish is an eventful time-travel romance with some very interesting characters.

Since Emily comes from the 1800s and ends up in present day times, there are quite a few changes that Emily must deal with. Not only are there many physical changes to the world, but the people of the future, along with these changes, are hard for Emily to adjust to.

Emily’s newfound friends, Tinker and Liam, take care of her in her confusion, not believing her time-travel story one bit. Both Tinker and Liam are on a quest to break into the music business in Nashville, but can they afford to take Emily along with them? Kiss Me, I’m Irish is an adorably, sweet romance that will take you on many adventures and keep you on the edge of your seat. Emily, Tinker and Liam are comically argumentative, yet always looking out for each other in harrowing times.

I truly enjoyed this romance. It’s a more tame, completely sweet romance that everyone will love, without all the sex. It’s very romantic and easy to read. I recommend it for all age groups who love to read romance!
